פרויקט שהתחיל בשיתוף בית הנשיא וממשיך בשיתוף רשויות מקומיות. תכנית למודים ייעודית ללמודי טכנולוגיה ומדע בגני חובה. הפעילות מתקיימת כפיילוט בארבעה יישובים בצפון.

ניצני טכניון גנים

משרד החינוך בשיתוף בית הנשיא פיתח תכנית לתלמידים מצטיינים מהמגזר הדרוזי בשם ‘ניצני טכניון’. לבקשת בית הנשיא פיתחה  Ytek  את תכנית ‘ניצני טכניון junior’ שמטרתה פיתוח חשיבה מדעית, טכנולוגית, הנדסית ומתמטית ה- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) STEM) לתלמידים בגיל הרך.

בתכנית מושם דגש על למידה חווייתית ומשמעותית. ההתנסות כוללת שימוש רחב במחשבים ניידים ורובוטים ככלי עזר להמחשת הנלמד ולהפקת תוצרי הלמידה. וזאת בכדי להבנות תובנות בסביבה טכנולוגית ומתוקשבת של ילדי הגנים שהיא סביבתם הטבעית.

הגננות זוכות לליווי של מורי Ytek עד לרכישת ידע וביטחון בהפעלת התכנית. במהלך העבודה הגננות הופכות לבעלות ידע קונסטרוקטיביסטי ומסוגלות להפעיל את התכנית בכוחות עצמן.
